The Horizon I282 Pro features ultra-fast and highly efficient 802.11ax (WiFi 6). With speeds up to 600Mbps downlink and 50Mbps uplink, you can enjoy rapid file downloads, uninterrupted HD movies, music, video chat, and business meetings even in remote areas. OFDMA allows the router to send to more than one device at a time, splitting up wireless frequency into blocks, assigning more to users that need more e.g. video data, and less to users that need less e.g. VoIP calls, than sending all at once. This ensures all users have less of a wait, greatly improving efficiency. It allows the router to effectively and responsively serve more wireless clients.

This router provides up to six (6) Gigabit LAN ports for wired links to Computers, Servers, and Network Attached Storage. With five (5) dedicated LAN ports and one (1) flexible LAN/WAN port, the I282 Pro can connect up to six (6) devices directly with a single Ethernet WAN configuration, or five (5) devices with a dual Ethernet WAN configuration.

The Horizon Powered object-based firewall enables you to create combinations of firewall rules and Content Filtering to suit a home or small office environment, applying Content Filtering to the whole network, only specified devices, or just the network that guests can connect to.
The I282 Pro supports both IPv4 and IPv6 with Dual-Stack IPv4/IPv6. Advanced networking features, such as the object-based Firewall, Quality of Service, Content Filtering, and VLANs support both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

The Horizon I282 Pro can be centrally managed by our Horizon DMS platform. This scalable solution provides visibility, control, and reporting of your entire network. Check device usage and share your network with friends. The software enables provisioning, management, and support of modems, routers, hotspots, and VoIP devices. The solution is based on a TR-069 standard and enables a dramatic reduction of the provisioning costs and support for non-technical users. The remote management supports TR-069, SNMP, FOTA, HTTP, and Web UI.
