How Horizon GPON networks work
GPON is Gigabit Passive Ethernet Network. Passive Optical Network (PON) is a system that delivers fiber optical cabling signals to the home or business (FTTx) with a point-to-multipoint architecture. It allows users to access video, audio, Internet data, etc. There are plenty of different standards of PON and GPON is exactly one of them.
